You arrive in Indore today. This afternoon you will be visiting Indore City. Indore is known as the city of the Holkars. The city was built by Holkar Rani AhilyaBai, one of the famous queens of India. Here you can visit some of the famous historical monuments and religious centres like Rajwada, Kanch Mandir, Bada Ganpati, Chhatris, Mahatma Gandhi Hall, Lal Bagh Palace, Nehru Park and Indore Museum.

This morning you will be driving towards Mandu. Mandu is the love of poet-prince Baz Bahadur for his beautiful consort, Rani Roopmati. Perched along the Vindhya ranges at an altitude of 2,000 feet, Mandu has eclectic creations combining the charming assertion of the Afghan mode with the great cultural heritage of the Turkish people. Mandu is a city adorned with breathtaking architectural jewels. At Mandu, you can visit forts, palaces, gateways and temples like Laxmi Narayan temple, Hoshang Tomb, Jahaz Mahal, and Hindola Mahal.

After morning breakfast and hotel check out, you will proceed to visit Maheshwar. Maheshwar is a historical town on the banks of river Narmada known for temples, mighty fort-complex standing in quiet beauty, mirrored in the river below and distinctive hand-woven sarees called Maheshwari.

Later, drive towards Omkareshwar to visit the sacred island, shaped like the holiest of all Hindu symbols, ‘Om’. Omkareshwar is situated on the banks of river Narmada and is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The significance of this linga is that the linga is not situated below the cupola. The idol of Lord Shiva is situated on the top of the temple. The temple can be reached by ferry from the banks of the river.

This morning at Omkareshwar you can visit places like Mamaleshwar temple, Kedareshwar temple, Omkareshwar parikrama, Gauri Somnath temple, Ranmukteshwar temple, Shri Omkar mandhata sacred meeting point.

Thereafter, drive towards Ujjain. Ujjain is a venerated pilgrimage centre enshrining Mahakaleshwar, one of the Jyotirlinga manifestations of Shiva. Situated on the banks of the sacred river Shipra, which is the modern name of Ujjaini. It is one of the sacred places of the Hindus, and the KumbhMela (religious fair) is held here every twelve years.

Visit Mahakaleshwar temple for the darshan of Shree Mahakaleshwara. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, the lingam at the Mahakala is believed to be born of itself (swayambhu) deriving currents of power (shakti) from within itself as opposed to the other images and lingams which are ritually established and invested with the mantra-shakti. You can visit places like the Mahakaallok, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, KaalBhairav, Mangalnath Temple, Harsiddhi, and ISCON Ujjain. Thereafter, drive towards Bhopal.

Bhopal city is referred to as the City of Lakes because of the two beautiful lakes. The city has immense archaeological, historical and political importance attached to it. The origin of the city dates back to the eleventh century when Raja Bhoj founded the Bhojpal City. In Bhopal, you can visit the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Birla Mandir, Bharat Bhawan and Taj Ul Masjit if time permits.

This morning proceeded to visit Sanchi Stupas. On the way to Sanchi, you will pass through several towns and small villages. It is 46 km northeast of Bhopal. It is unique for having the most perfect and well-preserved Buddhist stupas. The remains of Buddhist saints Sariputra and Mahamodgilya are also preserved here. After Sanchi, you will proceed to visit Udayagiri caves, about 15 km from Sanchi close to the town of Vidisha. Udayagiri caves are rock-cut cave shrines, dating from 320-600 A.D.

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive towards Panchmarhi. En route and take a halt to visit Bhojpur (28 Km) & Bhimbetka (46 km).

Bhojpur, The tiny village of Bhojpur is situated on the bank of river Betwa. Here we will see the remains of the magnificent Shiva Temple and Cyclopean dam dated 1010-53 A.D.

Bhimbetka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bhimbetka rock shelters exhibit the earliest traces of human life in India; its Stone Age rock paintings are approximately 9,000 years old, making them among the world’s oldest. Further continuing your drive to reach Pachmarhi. On reaching Pachmarhi, you can visit Gupt Mahadev, Mahadev, Jatahakar, Handi Kho etc if time permits. Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.

After breakfast, we will proceed for a full-day Pachmarhi sightseeing tour and cover its tourist places in 03 fixed trails (can select any 01 as per your choice) such as:

After morning breakfast and hotel check-out, drive to Bhedaghat. The wonder of Jabalpur lies in its Marble Rocks canyon and the torrential waterfall called Dhuandhar (Fumes of water). Soaring in their glittering splendour, the rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either side of the Narmada River. Enjoy the enticing sight of Marble rocks in the small and old canoe-type ferryboats.

After breakfast and hotel check out, you will proceed to visit Bandhavgarh. Bandhavgarh National Park is the habitat of tiger, spotted deer, barking deer, sambar, causing, nilgai, guar, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, jackal, leopard, and a wide variety of bird life. Wildlife enthusiasts will surely have the time of their life here for the park has the highest population of tigers in India. If you are granted permission by the Rewa's royal family, you can visit the fort. The wonderful carvings in the fort and the fabulous view from the top cannot be described, but rather only experienced.

Wake up early and enjoy the Morning Jungle Safari to Bandhavgarh National Park. It is a small national park with a high density of tigers.

Thereafter, depart for Khajuraho, which is situated in the Bundelkhand region. This small town is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. The temples of Khajuraho are declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for their beautiful rock carvings. Enjoy the evening light and sound shows at Khajurhao.

This morning proceed to visit the Western and Eastern group of temples in Khajuraho. The western group of temples is the best known because it is to this group that the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple belongs. KandariyaMahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple and Lakshamana Temple belong to the western group.

In the eastern group, the temples are the Brahma temple, which has a four-faced lingam, The Vamana temple which is embellished with images of ravishing apsaras at their alluring best; and finally the Javari temple, with its ornate gateway and lavish carvings.

After breakfast in the morning, we will say goodbye to Khajuraho and head towards Orchha by road. On arrival, check in to the hotel and take a rest for some time. Freshen up and can proceed for some Orchha sightseeing tour to visit its tourist attractions such as Chhatris, Laxmi Narayan temple, Chandrashekhar Azad Memorial, Raja Mahal and Dauji Ki Haveli as time permits.

Depart for Gwalior early morning. On the way, we will stop over at Datia. Datia is famous for the seven-storied palace built by Rahabir Singh Dev in 1614. It is the representative of one of the finest architectures of the Bundela period. The place also houses the Bundela mural paintings. Later, proceed towards Gwalior.

Gwalior is famous for one of the finest living forts in India. Within the fort walls are interesting temples, museums and palaces. The museum collection includes several royal memorabilia like three-and-a-half ton chandeliers, not to mention a carpet the size of a couple of tennis courts and a silver model train, which once chugged on miniature rails around the royal dinner table laden with decanters and cigars. You can explore the beautiful Jai Vilas Palace, Teli Ka Mandir, Man Mandir Palace, and Suraj Kund as time permits.

Later, you will be transferred to the Airport or Railway station for the onward journey.
